Yes there is. We went to a show at National theater and had dinner here first. It was pretty good but there are a lot better choices in the same price range that can get you in and out in time for the show. Reservations anywhere near the theaters are a must though. No chance of getting a walk in table any night there is an event nearby.

No dress code, but it's not a beach bar.
Absolutely. Quite the selection too.
Our favorite french restaurant closed so we have been going to a number of different ones to see if we like them. This one is nice and we enjoyed the food. It is a little pricey.
I really enjoyed this place. We went for the resturant week menu with a three courses meal including dessert. We enjoyed the food a lot and appreciated that these owner was there and checked on us. Friendly staff and good service.
It’s a wonderful place to dine time and time again. When we go to a show at National Theatre this is usually where we start the evening first. Food is amazing and staff really make you feel special, especially Isabelle. What’s nice is that you can bring your own bottle of wine with you for just a small corkage fee.
Love it! years ago I worked a few blocks from it and it was where victory lunch happened. There Spaghetti Bolognese is possibly my favorite meal on earth. It is the best. The fried chicken is really good to. Everything I had here was great. Need to come back and try again, it's been to long!
I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant com I come here several times a year to enjoy a wonderfully prepared French dish. The staff are extremely Friendly, knowledgeable about their menu, willing to provide a excellent recommendation and always Going above and beyond to make sure that your visit as central is top notch. If you were in the Washington DC area you must not miss this gem on Pennsylvania Avenue I promise it will absolutely be Worth your time.
The outside of the building is under repair. But you can still get a fancy experience about the food. I especially recommended the crispy chicken and France union soup. The price is not that high. Suitable for a workday brunch.
I really like this restaurant! Every dish looks elegant and delicate. The liver paste changes my mind, the flavor was so good with toasted bread. Our waiter is really nice!! But I forgot his name. He recommended dishes and serve every thing in right time. Nice chef, nice waiter and nice food.
Fabulous. $55 for Steak and Frites, a salad, and a bottle of Bordeaux! For two! The steak was heavenly, the frites tasty, and the Bordeaux - once decanted - a perfect match for the steak (which had a great peppercorn sauce on the side)!!!
Eh, over rated. Slow service. Food wasn't BAD, but there is a lot better in the area.
Michel's Fried Chicken breast, served with the creamiest garlic mashed potatoes, is a treat at any time. During restaurant week, it's part of a fabulous three course lunch for only $22. The French onion soup I had was thick with Gruyere and provalone. The chocolate lava cake and coffee ice cream was a perfect ending to a special meal. Service was excellent thanks to Antonio, who was attentive even though the restaurant was packed.
Excellent experience. Highly recommend the Hanger Steak Au Poivre, delicious! The service was great and friendly too. We had a group of 15 and the staff didn't miss a beat. Kudos to the staff for making the evening even more memorable for me and my teammates. I hope to come back again next time I'm in DC.
Wonderful experience to a DC classic. Went for lunch during restaurant week. The red velvet cake was not that good but the French Onion soup and salmon piperade we tasty.
Everything we tried was excellent. The fried fish had a light crispy batter and no grease. The calamari was perfectly prepared with a slightly spicy tomato-based sauce that was wonderful. Even the goat cheese salad was interesting. Excellent service, too. The decor is classy, subtle, and well lit, but it gets noisy.
